The OSA3 MicroLab™  is the most comprehensive, stand alone diagnostic instrument commercially available anywhere in the world.

The OSA3 MicroLab™ is the next best thing to spending several hundreds of thousands of dollars and hiring a trained lab technician to personally run each and every one of your used fluids analysis.  The OSA3 MicroLab™ is virtually a “lab in a box”.  It contains components with the ability to identify the presence of 20 metals and measure physical properties such as Glycol, TBN, Soot (diesel engines only), fuel dilution, water, Nitration, and oxidation.

Additionally, the build in dual temperature measures viscosity at 40 and 100c.  It even has an integrated particle counter.  Once the analysis is completed, the instrument provides an easy to read and understand diagnostic report that includes suggested preventative maintenance steps.  The OSA3 MicroLab™ obsoletes the need to send samples off to a lab and wait days or weeks for results.  With the OSA3, analysis can be completed in minutes and corrective action taken long before a lab would even receive your sample.  And the cost per sample can be as much as 50% less expensive than alternative testing methods.

The OSA3 MicroLab™ is the most efficient and effective way to manage your equipment maintenance and financial budget.  OSA3, when financial and human resources are limited.

MotorCheck® "A Blood Test For Your Equipment

Engine, Transmission, Power Steering systems, and Gear Box Analysis in just minutes... How does it work?

When people see all of the information that can be attained from a MotorCheck® OSA, they often don’t understand how the instrument works. Assuming that you are not an engineer, this will give you a working knowledge of our proprietary diagnostic instrument.

With the engine, transmission, power steering, or gearbox fluid sample providing information about the presence and level of different metals and other possible contaminants, and MotorCheck®'s ability to determine if the levels are normal or abnormal, the OSA can report the internal condition of your equipment. And it does this without a costly “tear down,” and hopefully before a major repair or catastrophic failure. The best part about MotorCheck® is that the findings are immediately printed in an easy to understand report so repairs can be made while the equipment is in your service bay.  No waiting weeks to hear back from an independent lab.

MetalCheck® A "blood test” for engines, transmissions, gearboxes. In 10 minutes you’ll know where trouble is hiding.

MetalCheck® brings the respected science of oil analysis to your site. It’s affordable, accurate, and easy to use.

Every major automaker uses oil analysis for power train development. Top race engine builders use it. The railroad, mining, aviation and marine industries all rely on it. Now you can have this incredibly valuable tool at your fingertips. Whether you’re servicing equipment or performing development and test, you need to know now about the condition of the hardware. MetalCheck® will let you accurately see problems without disassembly. Oil analysis has been available from contract laboratories for years, but you can’t afford to wait two or more weeks to get answers.

MetalCheck® tells you right away where problems are occurring, often before they become catastrophic. From just a two ounce sample of oil easily obtained through the dipstick tube or from drained oil, MetalCheck® tells you the concentrations of a full array of important wear metals that are the key indicators of engine, transmission and gearbox health. MetalCheck® also provides earliest detection of coolant leaks by measuring the presence of universally used coolant tracer additives. This helps you to spot blown head gaskets, leaking manifold gaskets, cracked blocks and more.

You don’t need a degree in metallurgy to make the most of MetalCheck’s diagnostic power. The results of each test are evaluated by MetalCheck’s vast database of make and model information to instantly interpret the results and suggest what needs to be done. These results are displayed in plain language right on the report that you can hand to a customer.

TruckCheck® “A Blood Test For Your Equipment”

Maintenance is as Serious as a Heart Attack

What do heart attacks and vehicle malfunctions have in common? When you least expect it, both can stop you dead in your tracks.

Get a Second Opinion
Doing it right the first time means using the right equipment. The TruckCheck® Analyzer is a highly sensitive, computerized diagnostic tool developed to detect problems in your vehicle's engine, transmission, and power steering system.

OSA3M For Military Vehicle Fluids Analysis

Fleet readiness and reduced vehicle malfunctions is the motivation for every Military installation to have an OSA3M in their motor pool. The OSA3-M Analyzer is a table-top self-contained oil analysis lab that measures wear metals and the physical properties of the lubricants. Within the OSA3-M are both an arc-spark emission spectrometer (AE) and an infrared module (IR). An optional internal Dual Temp Viscometer (40c / 100c) is also available for special applications.

The AE works by ionizing contaminating wear metals in the oil with a high voltage arc inducing a plasma bubble. An optical collector transmits the light waves to both a high and a low range spectrometer. Then the spectrometers measure 10 or more contaminate wear metals, iron, copper, lead etc. in parts per million (PPM).

The IR module features an optical infrared light source, with a flow-through cell, and a detector. Light at wavelengths specific to physical condition of interest are transmitted through the oil in the flow-through cell onto the detector and measured in absorbance units. The higher the concentration of a source of contamination, the less IR light is transmitted through the oil and onto the detector. The OSA3-M will then determining the useful life of the lubricant, and detect water, glycol, soot etc.

The integrated central processor (CPU) gathers the data from the AE, the IR, and the optional Viscometer when installed. The numbers are generated and then through a set of algorithms, the diagnostic statements are written. The CPU also stores the data for doing Trend Analysis. Maintenance Diagnostics printouts are available in minutes, not days or weeks.

The benefits of doing true oil analysis, on-site, includes the security of information, reduction of man-hours to determine maintenance issues, improve troop and equipment logistics, readiness, and drastically cut oil and filter costs by changing oil and filters on an as-needed basis, instead of on a calendar basis. It also lowers the cost of the analysis itself while at the same time expanding the technical knowledge of the troops.

The OSA3M is the only multi-tester of its type accepted by ASTM, and uses ASTM accepted test methods. It is a rugged and reliable Oil Analysis Lab that is as easy to use as and ATM. The OSA3M produces lab quality diagnostic reports with a high level of repeatability.
